ABOUT THE ACTOR
Will is a Philadelphia-based singer and actor, having recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with B.A. in Theatre Arts. Originally a New York native, he now resides in Philadelphia where he works as a theatre artist with many area theaters in Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware.
While a student at UPenn, Will was a four year member of Penn Singers. During his time in the company, he worked as a performing member, Social Chair/Member-at-Large, and finally the President in his senior year. He performed in eight shows, including Jason Robert Brown's Parade, Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore, and (fatefully) Legally Blonde: The Musical...which he would come to perform three times in that year! Additionally, he worked as a dramaturg for the Theatre Arts Program at Penn, directed King Lear for Front Row Theatre Co., and performed in upwards of fifteen productions with groups like Penn Players, Quadramics Theatre Co., and more!
As a musical theatre actor since high school, Will has worked with such talented individuals as Tom Kitt (composer of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal), Laura Pietropinto, Dann Dunn, Trey Compton, Ben Smallen, and more. He has studied voice with Liz Caplan Studios in NY, as well as with renowned teachers and singers Dr. Patricia Raine (University of the Arts), Maureen Francis, and Annie Burridge. An avid Shakespeare fan, Will has received training from Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, MA, as well as the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He has worked as both an Education and Literary/Casting intern at the Wilma Theater and a Development intern at the Arden Theatre Company, two of Philadelphia's highest-regarded theaters.
Since graduating from Penn, Will has appeared on numerous stages throughout the Philadelphia area, including the Arden Theatre, Bristol Riverside Theatre, the Media Music Theatre, the Eagle Theatre, the Ritz Theatre Company, New Candlelight Theatre, and more. Some favorite recent In addition to performing, Will works as a classroom actor with Philadelphia Young Playwrights, helping students workshop and develop original works in their Philadelphia classrooms. He also works as a Remote Transcript Editor for 3Play Media, providing closed captioning for videos ranging from Netflix and Amazon Prime to educational videos.
